We are also able to bill on Personal Injury claims from Motor Vehicle Accidents and other commercial plans that have out-of-network benefits.  For out-of-network benefits, we will require a partial payment at the time of service and will bill your insurance directly as a courtesy. Please note that contracting may vary slightly by provider and that individual policies vary.

Verification of Benefits

It is important for you, as a patient and health care consumer, to understand your health insurance coverage as you are financially responsible for fees that are not covered by your health insurance.  We encourage you to verify your benefits with your insurance company directly to get the best possible information and avoid unexpected charges as information provided in pamphlets may not be the most up to date.  For your convenience, you may print our Health Insurance Verification Form and use it as a guide when calling your insurance company. Please BRING THIS FORM to your initial visit.

Restrictions on Coverage

Due to federal laws, we do not participate in Medicare, Tricare, or Veteran’s Administration (VA) plans. Click here to get involved with including naturopathic medicine in Medicare.

Ask your insurance carrier about your benefits for seeing a naturopathic physician. For contracts begun after January 1st 2014, commercial health insurance plans are required to cover naturopathic medical services. If your insurance company advises that you have a special limit on naturopathic medical services that’s different from your limits for conventional medical services, you have rights. Click here to file a complaint with the Oregon Insurance Commissioner.

No insurance?

Payment options for people without naturopathic health insurance coverage include a courtesy on fees paid in full at the time of service, and a payment plan that allows you to make a partial payment for services at the time of service and monthly payments for the balance (some restrictions apply).
