If you’ve been in to see me this summer, I’ve probably mentioned the latest book I’ve been reading, Atomic Habits by James Clear. This book is a fantastic and easy read, but cuts to the chase when it comes to breaking bad habits and making new good habits. Essentially, it’s a formula for getting out of a rut and making sure you are doing things you choose to do. I started to say, it’s about getting yourself off auto-pilot, but even more than that, it’s about setting up habits and systems so that your autopilot is actually serving you. I wrote about this book in my latest Tualatin Life article – check it out here – or hope over to your local library or bookseller and pick up a copy of the book.
