A basic naturopathic tenet states that “prevention is better than a cure.” This is the foundation of naturopathic medicine and at the heart of many of our clinic’s treatment plans. During cold and flu season, staying well is important to avoid missed school, work and recreational activities. This can be challenging during the fall season as sweet treats come out in force and we get more exposure when children return to school.
In this month’s Tualatin Life article, Dr. Kadakia discusses some of the ways that our clinic can help you stay well through the cold and flu season. We have great examples of how well these treatments work including two patients with a history of multiple hospitalizations who have been able to stay well using naturopathic treatment plans.
